As a licensed acupuncturist, I prescribe high-quality patent herbal formulas. These traditional formulas are selected based on your individual presentation to support internal balance and may assist with a range of concerns, including digestion, sleep, and hormonal health. Herbs help address the underlying disharmony and support your health between appointments.

A modern technique that targets tight or sensitive muscle points (trigger points) to relieve pain and improve movement. It is particularly effective for musculoskeletal conditions such as neck, shoulder, and lower back pain.

A heat therapy that involves burning a herb called mugwort (Ai Ye) on specific acupuncture points. Moxibustion is a therapy I am particularly passionate about, so depending on its intended purpose I may use different forms. The forms include rice grain moxa, cone moxa, ondan (needle head) or stick moxa.

Fire cups may be used to help relieve stagnation, promote Qi and blood flow, release muscle tension and support recovery. The cups may leave temporary marks on the skin which are used diagnostically and usually fade within a week.

A traditional therapy that involves gently scraping the skin with a tool to resolve stagnation in order to promote circulation and the free flow of Qi and Blood. Gua sha may leave temporary redness or light marking (Sha) , which typically fades within a few days.
